Rocco and the terrible Twos

The terrible twos have struck my sweet big baby, Rocco. Rocco is very strong-both head strong and physically. Bed times are the WORST. He is very difficult to get to go to bed and it takes lately 2-4 hours to get him down. His new "thing" is wandering around, and getting out of bed, trying to get in bed with Deeda (Dom), or just scream. Lately, it has been so hard to go to the store with him, since he doesn't want to get in the shopping cart. He had a melt down today at Babies R US....and just runs around, and throws himself to the floor.
I know it is the Terrible Twos. Rocco is a very smart, sweet boy. He also talks so much!!! He knows so much; knows his ABCs, colors, and numbers....and he is JUST 2! But man, is he strong. At 8 months pregnant, it is very hard to handle him.
Those moments when he comes over for a cuddle or climbs in my lap, I could have time stand still. He is growing so fast. Where did my baby go????

Dom PreK

Dom started PreK in District 62 at the Early Learning Center. He has been enrolled for Speech Delay, and is attending afternoon PreK and receiving services. He is THRIVING. He is so happy, is socializing and just loving it. His teacher's name is Miss. Jennifer Jennings. There are 7 boys in his class and 2 girls. Domi often talks about Noor, Jocy, Angel, Jayden and Immanuel and he calls everyone at school his friends. He is working on his sounds and pronunciations--his actual vocabulary and understanding are excellent. Domi loves school!

Rocco big BO bed

Friday 1/29/16, Rocco slept his first night in his big "bo" bed! We don't have a baby anymore 😪. 

Rocco has been napping for a few weeks in Doms big boy bed, Rocco is a little obsessed with it! He started climbing out of the crib a few times a day-so his big boy bed is a toddler bed since he just turned 2. He's doing well-so far so good. Hard to believe he is big enough for a big bed.

Domi loves to build towers from his duplo Legos. He's very proud when they are very tall!
